Each press of M advances to the next mode, in order, looping back to Timekeeping.
| Hebrew Date | Fixed rule-based Hebrew calendar; no manual leap-year or month-length correction needed. |
| Daf Yomi | Displays current masechet and daf per the standard Daf Yomi cycle; auto-advances at midnight. |
| Zmanim | Alot, Talis and Tefillin, Netz, Magen Avraham Shema, GRA Shema, Last Shacharit, Chatzot, Mincha Gedolah, Plag, Shkia, Three Stars, and 72 Minutes; scroll with A. Location configurable (latitude/longitude). |
| Tachanun | Daily YES/NO indicator; reason shown on demand via A when NO. |
Press A to switch between the Hebrew date and Hebrew year. Date is computed from a fixed rule-based Hebrew calendar — no manual correction is ever required. Day changes automatically at halachic nightfall.
Long masechet names scroll automatically across the display while A is held. Advances at midnight to the next daf in the current Daf Yomi cycle.
The first entry begins at Location, while successive entries begin at Today. Hold A to return to Location, hold L to peek to tomorrow's zmanim, and press A to cycle through each day's listings. Today shows the zmanim for today. Tomorrow shows the zmanim for tomorrow.
Location is only entered the first time the watch is used. On every later entry into Zmanim mode, Step 1 is skipped and the watch goes straight to Step 2.
Pressing A after the last zman (72 Minutes) loops back to the first zman still in the current display cycle. Holding A from any frame in Step 2 jumps back to Step 1 to re-enter location.
Zmanim recalculate for the civil day using the stored latitude/longitude. Coordinates persist until changed.
The display cycle contains only the zmanim from the current time through the end of the list. As soon as a zman has passed, it is removed from the cycle. For example, after 8:14 PM, Shkia is no longer displayed; only Three Stars and 72 Minutes are. After 8:52 PM, Three Stars is also removed, and only 72 Minutes is displayed. After 9:26 PM, no times are displayed. To see more times, hold L and you will jump to the zmanim for tomorrow.
When Tachanun is said, display reads YES and pressing A has no effect — there is no reason screen to show.
